Our Story

"When I first started pursuing my own artistic goals, I quickly saw how tough the art world could be. Talent often wasn’t enough, and emerging artists struggled to find their place. Even so, my love for creating never went away, and I became more aware of how powerful art can be, not just as a career, but as a way to support wellbeing and help people express themselves.
That belief inspired the creation of Painting Progress! I realised that art can be a tool to boost confidence, connect communities, and support emotional wellbeing, especially for those who don’t always have access to creative spaces. We wanted to create a place where everyone could experience that, and where art could make a real difference in people’s lives.

“Art being a universal language of expression can have a profound impact in fostering social change and amplifying voices for the marginalised and underserved communities.”

We’ve worked to create a space where art can break barriers and become a force for meaningful change. As we continue to grow, our commitment stays the same: to nurture a community where art thrives, where everyone can participate, and where creativity makes a real social impact. We hope you’ll join us on this journey...welcome to Painting Progress!"
